Please help us flood SD 33 admin inboxes with this letter. It’s time we hold those in leadership roles accountable.

This strategy has worked well for us in the past—the more who participate, the better.
Here’s a call to action against Teri Westerby’s post about steamrolling over Christians. I know the image says “Christian Values”; however, it also depicts PEOPLE being steamrolled, KILLED!!!
This type of public post puts all Christian children at risk because woke students now think this type of HATRED and VIOLENCE is OK.
TERI SHOULDN’T BE AROUND ANY CHILDREN after displaying such a vile, hate-filled post. By the way, Willow laughed at this post.
Can you imagine the upheaval if it had been steamrolling Muslims? Or steamrolling transgenders? If it had been one of us posting this with transgenders being steamrolled, we would have been charged with a hate crime!

Dear Superintendent Rohan Arul-Pragasam and Board of Trustees,
I write to you today in regards to a public social media post one of your School Board Trustees made on July 28, 2023.
Teri Westerby publicly posted a meme on Facebook exemplifying violence and hatred towards the “Traditional Family”, the “Sanctity of marriage”, and “Christian values”. Teri’s role in the community is one of leadership, and our leadership is focused on inclusion and diversity, the opposite of what this post represents. This public post has been incredibly hurtful to not only myself and my family but many others in our communities.
As per THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 33 (CHILLIWACK) Policy Manual POLICY 110 DISTRICT MISSION, VISION AND MOTTO under Core Values it states:
2. Kindness
- We demonstrate caring, compassion and empathy towards everyone in order to create a spirit of connectedness in our community.
3. Inclusion
- We believe that meaningful inclusion is a right, and we support all learners to feel safe, supported and connected through programming that promotes diversity and personalization.
Furthermore, under THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 33 (CHILLIWACK) Policy Manual POLICY 120 BOARD AUTHORITY, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES it states:
Guidelines
- 1. The Board represents the community, makes decisions with the benefit of the whole district in mind and is accountable to the community.
- 3. The Board functions as a corporate Board and speaks with one voice.
- 6. The Board acts in the interests of all learners in the district, advocating for students, their learning and their well-being in the Board’s work with the community, the municipality and the province.
Teri Westerby was not demonstrating caring, compassion or empathy towards a significant portion of our community by making this public post. Not only that but according to #3 under Policy 120 Board Authority, Roles and Responsibilities, the “Board speaks with one voice”. Am I to understand correctly then that the entire school board shares this hateful sentiment towards this large demographic of our communities?
Due to the statement “the board acts in the interests of all learners in the district, advocating for students, their learning and their well-being”, please accept this as my official request to have Teri Westerby removed from the position of School Board Trustee for School District 33 Chilliwack BC due to safety concerns for students who come from families and backgrounds that Teri Westerby has so boldly and clearly shown hate towards.
Due to this public post, these students and families no longer feel safe under Teri Westerbys leadership. At the very least, Teri must be banned from having any contact with any students and banned from School Property, just as the board did to Barry Neufeld for his “hateful” comments.
This isn’t the first time Teri has made hateful posts toward Christians.
